Emma

Following her studies and a full winter season in the mountains, Emma ‘fell’ in to the industry and has since gained experience across all modes of transport.

She describes the industry as very challenging but also very rewarding and is currently undertaking an industry-related course called ‘Understanding the BIFA Standard Trading Conditions, Cargo Insurance & Contracts’.

Outside of work, Emma enjoys Skiing and has a keen interest in live music which subsequently leads to her numerous festivals in the summer months.

On the calmer side, she also enjoys rambling (as in walking) with her two cavalier dogs Bailey and Bella (her pride and joy as a self confessed crazy dog lady) and she says its the dogs who can’t resist a good old countryside pub stop. OK Emma if you say so.

Simon

Having earned a First Class Honours degree in Business at Sheffield Hallam University, Simon like Emma fell into the world of freight forwarding and hasn’t looked back since.

Outside of work, Simon is a keen adventurer which has led him to swimming in the Amazon, exploring Machu Picchu and venturing up to the Artic Circle. Equally, he enjoys reading educational books, sipping on a pint he’s never heard of and claims to be a follower of Tottenham Hotspur (for which he apologises).

Latterly, Simon is very proud to have been shortlisted as a finalist in the ‘Young Freight Forwarder’ category of BIFA’s 2016 Freight Service Awards.
